Camp El Planet er et flott sted for familier som ønsker en ferie litt utenom det vanlige. Ingenting galt med å ligge på en overfylt strand og bo på et stort hotell i en uke eller to. Om det er hva familien ønsker er Camp El Planet neppe å foretrekke. For de som derimot ønsker et noe mer aktivt ferieopphold har Costa Blanca og Camp El Planet mye å tilby. Vi har allerede presentert en rekke av disse; sykling, turgåing, klatring, golf og lagidretter som fotball og håndball. Det er mange tennisklubber i området, og rikelig med kapasitet. Noe vekk fra kysten er det flere rideskoler og staller som tilbyr ridning.  Og i Busot finner vi Spanias største og dypeste grottesystem. De som ønsker vannsport har mange muligheter; seiling, windsurfing, kajakkpadling, kite surfing, paddle surfing og snorkling. Noen av disse aktivitetene er selvsagt ikke egnet for barn under en viss alder. Nedenfor har vi listet opp noen aktiviteter vi tror familier vil finne interessante. Vi har forsøkt å luke vekk de åpenbare turistfellene, men foreslår likevel at nettsidene besøkes på forhånd. Av praktiske årsaker er vår presentasjon av de forskjellige attraksjonene på Engelsk.

• Terra Mitica in Finestrat (www.terramiticapark.com). Gigantic theme park; contains everything from rollercoasters to waterslides. Daily shows, many stores and restaurants. The park is divided onto thematic areas based on ancient great Mediterranean civilizations (Egyptian, Roman, Greek and Iberian).
• The Canelobre Caves in Busot (www.cuevasdecanelobre.com). Enormous and spectacular cave; special lighting and superb acoustic makes it also interesting venue for concerts.
• Mundomar in Benidorm (www.mundomar.es); a huge marine park with spectacular shows by dolphins, sea lions and parrots. One can also admire penguins, flamingos and turtles.
• Safari Aitana in Penâguila (www.safariaitana.com); safari park with animals from five continents including lions, tigers, giraffes, elephants, panthers and more. Guided safaris in a 1.500.000 M2 large wildlife preserve.
• Aqualandia in Benidorm (www.aqualandia.net); water park with a wide range of activities; opened in 1985 and have since been gradually expanded; today one of the largest of its kind globally; contains numerous slides and pools. For children of all ages possibly the “most fun” attraction you will find in Spain.
• Terra Natura in Benidorm (www.terranatura.com) ; a new-generation wildlife park where you come into contact with the animals as if there were no barriers between you – at least, no visible ones; 1,500 animals from 200 different species, 50 of which are in serious danger of extinction.
• Aqua Natura (located close to and share website with Terra Natura);  contains changing rooms, pools, beach bars and more than 1.000 meters of thrilling water chutes and exclusive bathing areas for children.
• Mundo Marino (www.mundomarino.es); ride in glass bottomed boat showcasing the stunning coastline. Departs from Denia, Javea, Calpe and Altea. Offers also full-day trips with meals on board.
• Go-carting in Villajoyosa (www.kartinglavila.es) or in Finestrat (www.kartingfinestrat.com). The former is better suited for those on a budget and with no other ambition than having some fun; the latter for those who want to experience racing on one of the best go-carting circuits in Europe.
